the person that i am fully in love with, as in a “i’ll love you when the vericose veins & falling asleep to jeopardy! reruns from 1993 sets in” kind of love has a MORTAL FEAR of the skeksis creatures from jim henson’s the dark crystal.  at the age of 5, he went to the theatre, in australia, with his mum and hid under the seats.  he’s still afraid of the skeksis to this day and we often reference them in conversation.
